BUS
TRANSPORT
This year, our bus transport is again provided by Bentley Transport.
Bus transport is included in your entry fee. If travelling by cycle to the start or finish lines, security is your responsibility.
Please show marshals your bib to ride free. Wheelchair and pram access is available on buses, but please collapse them well in advance of boarding.
PRE-RACE BUS
Park near the finish line at Rawhiti Domain and get the bus to either start line
Bus transport to start lines commence at 7.00am and depart when full.
Buses depart from Lonsdale Street where signage will direct you to the pick-up point.
CORDE 12km Classic buses will drop off at the Sport Canterbury 6km start line on the way back, so split groups can ride together.

POST-RACE BUS
Park near Latimer Square or Porritt Park and get the bus back after the event
If you park close to the start lines, buses can take you back there once you finish at Rawhiti Domain.
Post-Race buses will be running from 10am-1pm and will go when full

CBD PARKING
Park in the CBD, complete the event, then take a bus back to the start.
PORRITT PARK PARKING
Enter from Kerrs Road. Park here and take a bus back from the finish.
RAWHITI DOMAIN PARKING
Finish Line Parking – Enter from Shaw Ave.
RED ZONE PARKING
Red Zone (Bickerton Reserve) – Access via Kerrs Road.
BAG DROP
We provide a bag drop service at both start lines to transport your belongings to the finish at Rawhiti Domain, thanks to The Moving Company. Please avoid bringing large items or packs—just a warm layer is recommended.
Bag Drop Times:
CORDE 12km Classic: Starts at 7:45 am
Sport Canterbury 6km: Starts at 8:45 am
Your race bib includes a bag tag. Fill in your contact details and attach it to your bag. We don’t provide bags, so bring your own. Avoid leaving valuables, as it’s at your own risk. Also, come dressed to run—start line toilets aren’t changing rooms.
Please note we do not take large items such as prams, bycicles, scooters etc.
ROAD CLOSURES
To ensure safety for participants and spectators, some roads will be closed before the race starts at 9:00 am. Roads will reopen progressively once the last participant has passed and the course is cleared. Expect some delays, and plan alternate routes if needed.
